The ingredients needed to make Marinated Roasted Beef:
  1. Get 800 g boneless rump roast
  2. Get 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  4. You need 1 large garlic clove, minced
  5. Provide 1 tbsp sugar
  6. You need 50 ml soy sauce
  7. Provide 90 ml water
  8. You need Pinch salt to taste

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Next pierce the beef all over with a fork. Coat the beef throughly by turning it in the marinade. Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight preferably. Turn it occasionally so both sides coat evenly.
  3. Heat the oven to 160c.
