- Take Dried adzuki beans
- Take 5 x 10 cm strip Kombu
- Prepare Water
- Prepare Salt
- Take Raisins
- Prepare Dried persimmons (optional)

- Rinse the adzuki beans and add to a thick pot with the kombu and water, and bring to a boil on high heat.
