- You need 3 slices bacon
- Prepare 600 g beef brisket
- Use 1 large white onion, chopped
- Get 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- Prepare 1 carrot, unpeeled and cut into 1/2 cm slices
- Get 2 celery sticks, chopped
- Get 1 bottle (750 ml) dry red wine
- Use 3 cups beef stock
- Use 1 bay leaf
