The ingredients needed to prepare Pav Bhaji:
  1. You need Pav Bread or Burger Bread (8-10 no’s)
  2. Provide 1 small Onion finely chopped
  3. Prepare 2-3 tomato finely chopped
  4. Use 1/2 capsicum/Bell pepper finely chopped
  5. Provide 1 potato Boiled and smashed
  6. Provide 1 carrot Boiled and smashed
  7. Get 1/2 cup green peas boiled and smashed
  8. Get 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro/coriander leaves
  9. Get 3-4 teaspoon Pav Bhaji masala powder
  10. Use 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder/paprika
  11. Prepare 4-5 table spoon Butter
  12. Provide to taste Salt
Steps to make Pav Bhaji:
  1. Heat up the pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter in to the pan
  2. Once the butter is hot enough then add chopped onion sauté it for 3-4 minutes/ golden brown on medium flame
  3. Add chopped capsicum and sauté for 3-4 minutes and then add chopped tomatoes continue the same procedure for another 5 minutes/ capsicum and tomato’s to get mashy
  4. Then add boiled and smashed potato, carrot and green peas to it
  5. Add 3 teaspoon pav bhaji masala powder if required add according to your taste, add chilli powder
  6. Sauté all vegetables for 3-4 minutes on low heat then add salt to taste and add one more tablespoon of butter to it and garnish with coriander leaves
  7. Take tawa and heat up, spread 1/2 spoon of butter on tawa, cut the pav into half then place on the tawa, toast the pav on both sides with butter
  8. Serve hot
