The ingredients needed to cook Soya manchurian:
- Use 100 gm Soya chunks
- Provide 1 tbsp all-purpose flour(maida)
- You need 2 tbsp corn flour
- Provide 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- You need as required Veggies(1 medium sized onion, 1 medium sized capsicum,2-3 green chillies,1 big tomato)
- Take As needed Spices(salt,1 tsp black pepper,1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder)
- You need As required Sauces soya sauce,vinegar, ketchup,red/green chili sauce(optional)1 tsp each
- Take as needed Oil for frying
Steps to make Soya manchurian:
- Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 5 minutes.
- Squeeze all the soya chunks and keep it in a bowl.
- In that bowl add maida,1.5 tbsp corn flour,salt,1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1/2 tsp black pepper and 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder.
- Mix well so that the soya chunks get well coated.
- Keep this marination aside for 5 mins.
- Meanwhile chop all the veggies.
- Now deep fry the marinated soya chunks till they turn golden brown.
- Take a pan.On a high flame heat a tsp of oil.
- Now add chopped onion,capsicum and green chillies.
- After 2 mins add remaining ginger garlic paste.
- Now add tomatoes a pinch of salt,1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder and cook for 2 mins.
- Now add all the sauces and vinegar. Stir well.
- Now take a bowl and make slurry by mixing 0.5 tbsp cornflour with some water and pour this slurry in the pan.
- Cook for 2 mins and add fried soya chunks and give it a mix.
- Cook for another minute.Switch off the flame.
- Soya manchurian is ready to be served. Sprinkle some coriander leaves or spring onion.(optional)
- Serve hot and enjoy!
