- Take Ingredients
- Take 5 servings
- You need 2 cups Basmati Rice
- Prepare 2 large carrot cut in cube
- You need 1 tin Green Peas
- Provide 1 tsp garlic & Ginger Paste
- Prepare 1/2 cup dice spring onions
- Take 1 bulb onion dice
- Take 4 fresh pepper diced
- You need 1 cksp veg oil
- You need 1 tbsp curry powder
- You need 2 green bell pepper cut in bit
- Provide to taste salt
- Get 3 knorr cube
Steps to make Basmati Fried Rice:
- Heat up water in a large pot and once it's hot and boiling add rice and parboil till it's almost tender and make sure to put enough water to cover the base of the rice
- Heat up frying pan and add veg oil, once it's hot, add onions and stir after a minute or 2 add ginger and garlic paste, pepper, stir in curry powder, knorr cube and salt
- Add the carrots, green peas, spring onions and green bell pepper; mix everything together and set aside
- In a separate pot, pour in a quarter of the rice and a quarter of the veggies mix and mix them together, do this continuously till you complete the process
- Stir everything together and allow the fried rice to heat up then turn off the heat and serve with salad
