  4. Take 2 tablespoons Raisins

  6. Prepare 2 tablespoons Oil
  7. You need pinch Asafoetida
  8. Prepare 2 Cardamom Black Piece
  9. Use 1 teaspoon Cumin

  12. Take 1 Cinnamon stick Piece
  13. Get 1 Bay Leaves Piece

Instructions to make Soya Pilaf:
  1. Wash the rice and drain it.
  2. Keep 2 cups of water ready.
  3. Boil soya granules in water for 5 minutes. Keep aside in hot water.
  4. Heat the oil and ghee together in a saucepan and add asafoetida, cumin seeds, black cardamom and raisins. Once the ingredients splutter add ginger paste, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, cloves and kashmiri chilly.
  5. Fry the ingredients for 2-3 mins.
  6. Drain the soya. Add Soya and mix vegetables and stir fry for 3-4 mins.
  7. Now add the rice and mix well. Add 2 cups of water and let it cook for 15 mins.
  8. Once the rice is done add the garam masala and lemon. Mix well.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves, cashews and kashmiri chilly.
  10. Serve with chilled raita.
