  2. Get Butter cut into pieces
  3. You need Garlic Cloves minced

  1. Rinse the potatoes under cold running water and drain thoroughly.
  2. Melt 4Tbsp of butter in a heavy bottomed pot over medium heat. Cook the garlic a sugar stirring often until sticky and lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the rinsed potatoes, 1 1/4 cups of milk, water and 1tsp salt to the pot and stir to combine. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally until the potatoes are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, 25 to 30 minutes.
