- Take 300 gm cauliflower rice
- Use 1 tbsp oil
- Get 1/2 tbsp ghee (Clarified butter) - optional, for flavour
- Take 1 inch cinnamon stick
- Get 2-3 cloves
- Provide 1 red chillie
- Prepare 2-3 cardamom
- Prepare 1 tbsp jeera
- Use 1 Green chilli finely chopped. I keep chilli frozen -last longer
- Take 1-2 bay leaves
- Prepare Coriander leaves - fresh for garnish (again I keep it frozen)
- Prepare Salt
Steps to make Jeera rice, well, with cauliflower rice:
- Gather the ingredients except frozen coriander, if you are using such. It must be taken out just before use.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil. Put bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, green and red chilli and jeera. Keep your extractor fan on :). Give it 30 sec to a min. Keep it low to medium heat.
- Add cauliflower rice. Mix well and fry for 2 mins. Add ghee and salt. Fry a little more.
- Add 2-3 tbsp water and cover. Cook for to3-5 min depending on the cauliflower rice consistency you prefer.
